Accessline

Most business websites fail the people who need them most.

UK businesses already have accessibility obligations under the Equality Act 2010. Sell into the EU too? The European Accessibility Act may also apply. We find exactly what's broken on your site and fix it properly. Not with a plugin that only pretends to.

Which law actually applies to you?

UK-only business

The Equality Act 2010 already requires UK service providers to make reasonable adjustments for disabled users. Courts and the Equality and Human Rights Commission point to WCAG 2.1 as the practical standard.

Selling into the EU

The European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) applies to e-commerce, banking, transport, and other covered services offered to EU consumers, regardless of where your business is based.

Both frameworks point to the same technical standard: WCAG 2.1 AA. Fix it once and you're covered either way.

How an audit actually works

No automated report. A specialist checks your site the way a disabled customer actually would.

01

We test your site manually

Screen reader navigation, keyboard-only browsing, and colour contrast checks across your key pages. Not just an automated scan.

02

You get a plain-English report

Every issue explained, ranked by severity, with exactly what's wrong and why it matters. Delivered within 2 business days.

03

We fix what we found

If you want it done, not just diagnosed, we make the code changes directly. No separate developer to brief.

Every fix is reviewed by a specialist with a background in organisational psychology, checking real-world usability, not just technical boxes ticked.

What we're usually finding

Every site is different, but these are the issues that come up on almost every audit we run.

Missing alt text

Product and content images with no description. A blind customer using a screen reader has no idea what they're looking at.

Poor colour contrast

Text and buttons that don't stand out enough from their background to be read by many low-vision users.

Unlabelled form fields

Checkout, contact, and newsletter forms where a screen reader can't tell the customer what a field is asking for.

Broken keyboard navigation

Menus and interactive elements that only work with a mouse, locking out anyone who navigates by keyboard alone.

Straightforward pricing

Fixed fees, no hourly surprises. Most businesses start with a Core Audit.
